About: While trying to create a new gem, Homeworld made a new type a Beryl, that served under White Diamond. They finished the project with success, but while creating the gem, a Rose Beryl was accidentally given multiple personalities. Homeworld decided not to shatter her because she had nothing else wrong and was just like other Beryls when it came to physical attributes.

Biography: Rose Beryl usually had her personality controlled by higher-class gems during the war (kind of like mind control), she was usually the violent or sadist during the war. After the war, she was struggling to recover after being controlled without consent and was usually depressed or emotionless. She was threatened to get shattered if she didn't stop "testifying" orders, so she escaped from Homeworld and went to the only planet she knew the directions to, Earth. She was a rouge gem for a long time and was visiting the Sky Arena when Pearl, Steven, and Connie saw her while arriving to train. Pearl saw the Diamond insignia (it was where that three-star thing on her belt that Rainbow Quartz has) and questioned her about why she was here. She told Pearl that she was tired of Homeworld controlling her and wanted to be free. After a while she joined the Crystal Gems.
